Learn about the process from getting your products from farm gate to plate, including: • Meat processing: tour of Silver Fern Farms sheep and beef processing plants at Finegand, including the new robotic lamb boning system. • Meat eating quality: learn about the work Silver Fern Farms is doing into improving the eating quality of meat, and what farmers can do to on-farm to improve meat quality.
Cooking demonstration and lunch by chef Graham Hawkes. Registration essential—numbers limited.
