Community Assembly, Triathalon, BBQ lunch; Term 1 Ends
 On a sad note Ross will be leaving us at the end of the term and I would like to say a big thank you to him for all his amazing work he has done with us over this past term and I am sure you will all agree he has bought a positive happy atmosphere to our school. He will be greatly missed so I hope to see you all at school for the Triathlon and BBQ and a chance to say thank you and goodbye.  You are also welcome to join staff at the Gorge Road Country Club from 4pmÂ
We shall have another community assembly where both rooms will again share with you what they have been up to in the second half of the term. This starts at 9:30am and is followed by morning tea and the Gorge Road School student Triathlon at about 11:00am. At the conclusion of the triathlon, we will share in a community BBQ, and finally those who are able will take their children home for a well-earned holiday. Those remaining will be supervised until normal bus time. Â
There is an ADULT section to the triathlon. Teams of three will participate in a clothed swim, cycle circuit on an under-sized bicycle, and a backwards run around the domain. More entries will be greatly received.
