Your families will have received an invitation from Class Dojo. Please accept that invitation because teachers will be using that platform to deliver their lessons next term. As you accept the parent invitations the QR codes for the children will be emailed to you.
Log into the recommended sites and make sure that everything is working smoothly .
Practice using them so that once distance learning/ school resumes you are up and running. But you also need to play outside, to go on walks, bake cookies and paint pictures, play board games and card games, watch movies, talk with your children...
From now until 14th April it is officially the school holidays.
There will be comprehensive learning programmes established for your children from 15th April onwards...
Please check your emails for updates.
Our preferred apps are on this website. Your children have their log-in information ..
If you have issues with the hyperlinks or need something sorted, please email me email@example.com
Individual teaching staff are able to help if you have a specific query. Email me and I will forward your request onto the appropriate staff member. They are all using personal addresses in order to get emails from home, and this is to protect their privacy. Please put the teacher’s name in the subject of the email to simplify transmission.
Although the idea of being off school for weeks sounds awesome, your children are probably picturing a fun time like their usual holidays, not the reality of being isolated at home and not seeing their friends. Over the coming weeks it is likely you will see meltdowns and tantrums. This is normal behaviour. It is to be expected.
What your children need now is to feel comforted and loved; to feel like it’s all going to be ok. At the end of all this your kid’s mental health will be more important than their academic skills. How they felt during this time will stay with them long after the memory of the school work they did is gone.
Staff will make the learning from home experience as flexible and fun as possible. Please keep in touch once sessions begin. Watch the messages on your parent Class Dojo page. All important information will come through there.
In the meantime keep warm, keep safe, be kind.
